Christian Stab studied at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, where he received a diploma in Computer Science in 2009. After his study he worked as a full-time researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research (IGD). He was involved in various national and European projects (e.g. Theseus, Aposdle, Unite, VIntEL, …), where he was responsible for collaborative tools and user-centered semantics visualizations.
Currently he is involved in the European project FUPOL and lead of the contract research projects MErK and Signal Tracing where he is working in the area of analytical semantics visualization for identifying strategic knowledge and data mining. His research interests are focused on visual trend mining, information visualization and semantic knowledge management.
