Matthias Breyer studied computer science at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany. Since 2008 he is a researcher at Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research (IGD).
His responsibilities comprise work and management activities in various national and international projects, like FUPOL, Smarter Privacy, Signal Tracing, THESEUS, and Unite. Matthias Breyer’s research objective is the analysis of heterogeneous data and data structures for their fusion and enrichment to semantics.
Within the research projects this objective is achieved in the fields of sentiment analysis, social network analysis, policy and law modeling; with the respective aims of visualizing trends, movements and progresses, policies, legal consequences, and formalized semantics itself.
